DSP Devinder Singh, who was caught with two terrorists in Kulgam, Kashmir, has been arrested. Initial inquiries have revealed that the two terrorists, who were in DSP’s car, were allegedly traded for Rs 12 lakh. Instead he was about to take those terrorists safely to Chandigarh. Not only this, he had also taken a leave of four days to reach his plans. The J&K Police and the terrorists’ alliance have also deterred security agencies. In such a situation, their layers of nexus will now open in joint investigation by central agencies like IB and RAW.

If sources are to be believed, the DSP also had the responsibility of making arms deals for the notorious terrorists. Right now security agencies are inquiring into this matter. During this time large cases may open. At the same time, on the basis of questioning, the security forces have raided more than half a dozen bases in Kashmir including Khamnu and Budgam in Srinagar. Some weapons have also been recovered on the spotlight of notorious terrorist Naveed. However, the investigating agencies are still refraining from disclosing anything in this regard.

According to officials, the entire case will be uncovered only after the inquiry is completed. On Sunday, Inspector General of State Police Vijay Kumar said that DSP Devinder Singh had committed a heinous crime. He was posted at a very sensitive place like DSP Srinagar Airport. It was not known till Saturday that he would be involved in such cases. He also said that it is wrong to blame the entire police for this.
