01 dies, 12 injured in road accidents in Valley

Srinagar July 21: One person died and twelve others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley.

In Baramulla, a Tractor bearing registration number JK05A/5217 driven by Abdul Rehman Ganie son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Tandma turned turtle near Check Durhama in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kreeri, resulting in on spot death of the tractor driver. After completing medioc-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.

In Budgam, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04B/5994 skidded off the road near Police Station Char-e-Sharif, resulting in injuries to three persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01G/8166 driven by Zahid Ahmad Dar resident of Zoonimar Soura hit and injured a girl Khushboo resident of Barinbugh at Barinbugh Kangan. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kargil, a Truck bearing registration number JK01W/4801 and a Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number PB92V/8300 collided near Shemsha Bridge Thasgam, resulting in injuries to two persons. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Kargil police has registered a case in this regard.

In Handwara, a vehicle bearing registration number JK09A/3359 trned turtle near Tutiligund, resulting in injuries to five persons. All the injured were shifted to District Hosptial Handwara for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.

In Pulwama, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22/6816 driven by Farooq Ahmad Mir resident of Keegam, Shopian and a load carrier bearing registration number JK13A/6260 collided near Shadi Marg Rajpra, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Pulwama police has registered a case in this regard.
