01 school building, 07 shops damaged in fire

Srinagar, November 05: One school building and seven shops were damaged in four different fire incidents across the valley.

Fire broke out in the shop of Mohammad Syed resident of Ponchalpora Salia in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ashmuqam, resulting in damage to the shop. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.

Fire broke out in Government High School Gooripora in the jurisdiction of Police Post Bemina, resulting in damage to the school. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.

Fire broke out in a single storied building comprising of 05 Shops belonging to Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh resident of Tikipora Lolab in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sogam, resulting in damage to the building. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.

Fire broke out in the shop of Mohammad Sidiq Math resident of Qamerwari, resulting in damage to the shop. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.

However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
