03 Burglars arrested property worth lacs recovered in Bandipora
Srinagar July 03: Bandipora police arrested three burglars who had decamped with valuables worth lacs from a home in Ajas area of Bandipora District.
Habibullah Dar son of Karim Dar resident of Matipora Ajas complaint in the Police Post Ajas that on the intervening night of 30/01-06/07-2015 two men came to their house and asked for some water to break their fast. Later they asked for tea and entered into the house. Then they gave some substance to the family members to eat and told that they have the power to bless their money and gold and later decamped with some cash, a mobile phone and Gold worth lacs. They were travelling in a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK05D-0269.
On receipt of this complaint a case FIR was lodged and an investigation team led by DO Ajas Adil Makhdoomi under the supervision of SDPO Sumbal Rashid Khan formed.
The investigating team arrested three burglars alongwith Tavera vehicle bearing registration within 24 hours. All the stolen property has been recovered. The arrested burglars have been identified as Mashook Ahmad Shah son of Abdul Hamid Shah resident of Gonipora Kunzar, Hilal Ahmad Shah resident of Kalsari Pattan and Fayaz Ahmad Gojri resident of Gojri Mohalla Pattan. Manhunt is on to nab the fourth involved man identified as Ghulam Hassan Shah son-in-Law Soni Shah a resident of Gonipora Kunzar. Further investigation in this regard is going on.
