Srinagar, October 28: Three persons died in two separate road accidents in Kargil and Handwara.
A Tanker bearing registration number JK14B-5788 coming from Leh fell into a deep gorge at Pashkum in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kargil, resulting in on spot death of driver Sandhoku Ram son of Permu and conductor Ajay Kumar son of Govinda Ram both residents of Dhalpar Udhampur. Kargil police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Sumo bearing registration number JK09-6433 met with an accident at Sarmerg in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara, resulting in injuries to a minor boy Mohammad Ibrahim Mir son of Abdul Majeed Mir resident of Wader Bala. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Zachaldara for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead. After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his next of kins. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
