Dadwal while addressing the students  arvind singh shan nsui kishtwar visit

KISHTWAR: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) Unit Kishtwar visited at various villages of Cherji a very far-flung area of District Kishtwar under the leadership of Prakash Singh Dadwal District Head NSUI Unit Kishtwar and organized a Programme to aware students about Right to Education (RTE) act. The Programme was organized by Pardeep Kumar Dhar NSUI Astt.  incharge of the area. The event was a good will part of organization under the supervision of Ajay Kumar Ji National Delegate NSUI Incharge District Kishtwar and the function was presided over by   Prakash Singh Dadwal  District President NSUI unit kishtwar . After a long travelling by foot about 3 hours from road  NSUI team reached at the destination which is totally cutoff by road connectivity . Students and locals of the area welcomed the NSUI Team with great enthusiasm. Speaker on the occasion Pardeep Kumar Dhar demanded to District head to resolve various grievances concerned in students favor and also spokes about benefits of RTE for Students. Local member of Panchayat Ashok kumar ji also attended the function and while addressing the gathering he appreciates the hardship of the students leaders team in favor of students community and highlighted the problems faced by students of the particular area.

While addressing the gathering District President NSUI Unit Kishtwar Prakash Singh Dadwal said that RTE (Right to education) act is a noble gift given by congress government to the students which aims to eradicate illiteracy from our country by providing Free and Compulsory education to each and every students from age 6 to 14 years   and committed to ensure that all children, irrespective of gender and social category, have access to education. Implementation of RTE (Right to education) act is a noble cause for poor students and we will continue our struggle till RTE gets implemented in our J&K state.

Dadwal also criticizes the building and sanitation condition of the high school which in very poor state and added that soon he will discuss this matter with Administration. Arvind Singh Shan Astt. I/c Chatroo also Spokes on the Occasion and said that The Children’s Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act is the law came into effect in the whole of India except the state of Jammu and Kashmir but NSUI Team will not tolerate such indiscrimination for the J and K students. We are doing our best to provide awareness for each and every student about RTE and if govt. did not pay any attention we will intensify our agitation.


Mohd Motsim Giri General Secretary GDC Kishtwar also addressed the gathering and appealed the students to join hands with NSUI for this noble cause and we will definitely get this noble achievement.
