KATHUA, May 11: Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers today threatened to stage protests if their salary under SSA will not be released within ten days. This was announced by the state president of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum Vinod Sharma while addressing a meeting of ReT teachers of Kathua Zone.
During the meeting it was unanimously resolved that the ReTs along with their families will come to streets if the government will not release their pending salary.
Sharma alleged that the state as well as the central government are adopting delaying tactics to release the salary of the ReT teachers. He said that their salary has not been released for the several months due to which they are facing a lot of hardships. He said that only assurances were given to them that their pending salaries will be released but nothing concrete has been done. He warned that the step motherly treatment given to ReT will not be tolerated.
