18 students caught cheating; cases registered

Reasi : In the Class 10 Board exams for the private candidates, a case of copying has come to fore.

During the exam, the Flying Squad visited Govt Boys Higher Sec School and Govt Girls Higher Sec School in Reasi and caught 18 students cheating. The members of the squad have filed case against the dishonest students.
On Saturday, around 90 students were writing their social studies exam, the members of the flying squad made a surprise entry and found out students copying. On searching the students, the team found out written material from their possession.
Earlier on Thursday, during the Hindi and Urdu exam in the Panasa Higher Sec School, the flying squad reported 47 cases of cheating out of the 87 students appearing for the exam.
The flying squad members include Rakesh Gupta, Assistant Secretary of Jammu Education Board, Senior Assistants Iqbal Singh and Vachan Lal, Junior Assistant Ashish Sharma, Assistant Secretary of Reasi Board, Rakesh Choudary and Chandra Prakash.
According to the CEO VK Soni, the principal of the Panasa Higher Sec School was asked to submit a report regarding the incident during the exam. He further assured that the case will be strictly looked into and he would visit the school.
