JMC seals premises at Rehari Colony, Jammu
Jammu, Dec 08: While further continuing and intensifying the drive against the violations, the Enforcement staff of Jammu Municipal corporation under instructions from Ms. Mandeep Kaur (IAS), Municipal Commissioner and under the supervision of Sh. R.S. Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (Adm). Today sealed the commercial premises on ground floor where the branch of J&K Bank Rehari Colony was functioning.
In the said building there was no provision for parking the vehicles and the vehicles were illegally parked outside the Brach by the customers and the staff creating bottleneck and causing inconvenience to the general public in a already very busy area and also creating hindrance in the free flow of vehicular traffic leading to traffic jams. To action has been taken under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The Jammu Municipal corporation once again appeals to the general public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized/constructions in violation of land use otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition/sealing will be taken.
