22-year-old youth injured in poll violence dies


A 22-year-old man, who was injured during clashes between protesters and security forces on polling day in Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.With his death, the toll in the bypoll violence has climbed to nine.Muzaffar Ahmad Mir, a resident of Kulgam district in south Kashmir, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Hospital, a police official said.He said Mir had suffered multiple bullet injuries in his chest and leg during clashes at Barsoo in Ganderbal on April 9.
