“I am a tech-savvy person. Technology has always fascinated me. The idea of making this app comes when I was doing an android course online. It is my first attempt and I am very happy that it is being appreciated to this level,” said Mehvish as quoted by the Tribune.

Mehwish Mushtaq’s Dial Kashmir is a calls gateway to the Kashmir Valley. It consists of all the database including addresses, phone numbers and emails of various essential and commercial services. The application caters to both the local population and the tourists. The directory provided in the app is divided into two categories, essential and commercial, which are further subdivided into many categories. While, Essential category consists of fire services, gas agencies, government offices and hospitals, the commercial comprises of automobile, computers, electronics, jewellers and NGOs, besides railway timings.
