He was accompanied by Joint Director Information, Jammu, Namrita Dogra, senior functionaries of Hospitality and Protocol, Education, Police, Security, R&B, PHE, PDD and other concerned departments. During his visit, the ADC took stock of the face lifting of the main venue, seating arrangements, power supply, drinking water facility, installation of PAS, barricading of venue, sanitation measures and other necessary arrangements. The ADC directed the concerned agency for adequate deployment to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the venue and the surrounding areas. The ADC was also briefed about the identified parking spots for the national function. 3 Declared COVID Positive Days After Their Death; Delay In Results Creating Issues

Srinagar, July 14: A 60-year-old woman from Sarnal locality of Anantnag town was admitted at GMC Anantnag on July 6 after she complained of severe breathlessness and flu-like symptoms. Her samples were taken on July 9 and sent to SKIMS lab for Covid-19 testing & in the following morning she died & her body was handed over to the family for last rites even as her report was awaited.

Late evening on Monday, fourth day of her death, her sample returned positive for coronavirus. Her family, relatives, friends who participated in the funeral and visited the house went into a tizzy as people were unaware of the nature of her death.
