Being the native of Pangi Killar, I have travelled many times on this way from Chamba city, Himachal Pradesh to Killar- Pangi. Overall journey takes 20+ hours. Many times single driver drives all the way on these treacherous roads… Most of the times these vehicles like Sumo, Bolero, Max are overloaded with 12+ passengers and drivers are left with very less space. Recently, Pangi SDM, and SHO, taken some efforts to control overloading in these vehicles, but not much positive results were seen. May this accident open the eyes of People travelling to killar Pangi via Jammu and prefer not to travel in overloaded vehicles. Particularly, three+one person sitting in front row.
