JK Khadi and Village Board Pulwama today conducted interview of 92 candidates who have applied for financial assistance under JKREGP.
The DDC Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer, who is also chairman of the District Task Force Committee conducted the interview along with other members of the Task Force Committee comprising of General Manager DIC Lead Bank Officer, Cluster Head J&K Bank, District Officer KVIB and Superintendent ITI.
Among 204 candidates 92 appeared in interview and were declared qualified for financial assistance under the scheme.
The DDC said that the JKREGP is a flag ship programme of Government with an aim to generate sustainable employment for aspiring entrepreneurs. He urged upon the aspirants to strive for self-reliance. He asked the youth to adopt proactive approach and participate in the socio-economic development of the District.
