BUDGAM: Deputy Commissioner Budgam reviewed the status of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) today in a meeting at Budgam.
The meeting was informed that during the year 2013-2014 a total of Rs.11.53 crores were available and out of that Rs. 10.95 crores were spent under NRHM.
The meeting was informed that 8504 mothers were benefitted under Janani Suraksha Yojna and an amount of Rs 165.34 lacs were utilized. Under Janani Shishu Suraksha Karikram,3744 Normal Deliveries & 619 C-Section took place Diagnostics -25221, Blood transfusion -33, were provided & 8139 Pregnant Women were given free referral transport to and fro Home to Health Institution.
The Deputy Commissioner Budgam stressed upon the sanitation & hygiene for all the health institutions so that better patient care is provided to general masses.
The meeting was attended by the CMO Budgam, CPO Budgam, Block Medical Officer of the district, DPMU Budgam & all the BPMUs of district Budgam.
