KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 19: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice Abdul Haq today asked the officers to step up efforts for early redressal of public grievances and mitigating problems confronting the people.
While chairing a meeting of officers at Kupwara district, the Minister asked the officers to gear up and work in close coordination with people and be present on ground so that people don’t face any problems.
MLA Kupwara Bashir Ahmad Dar was also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Abdul Haq asked the officers to work on ground so that the government sponsored schemes are implemented in letter and spirit and developmental projects are completed as early as possible. He directed the officers of Kupwara district to complete all the developmental projects within the stipulated time.
He urged people to avail benefits of various developmental schemes of the Government and for over all development of the State.
The Minister also directed officers to ensure availability of basic amenities to the people and asked officers to ensure adequate drinking water supply, ration and electric power supply to the people.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Rajiv Ranjan and other officers of the district.
