After briefly restoring mobile services in Jammu, BSNL snaps it
Jammu, 12 July: The mobile internet services were barred in Jammu on July 9 in the wake of the unrest in valley that ensued from Burhan Wani’s encounter in Kokernag on the preceding evening. The mobile internet services continue to remain barred in Jammu except for the brief restoration this morning by BSNL.
U4UVoice spoke to a BSNL official who on the condition of anonymity clarified that there was a ‘communication glitch’ which led to the restoration of the mobile services for two hours today morning. “It was corrected thereafter,” said the official.
The BSNL official, however, did not give out any inputs on when the mobile internet services would be restored saying that this decision would be taken by the administration.
