After Pakistan, now ISIS flags waved in Kashmir Valley
Daring the government and security agencies the separatists in Kashmir today hoisted Pakistani, and ISIS (IsLamic State) flags in Kashmir valley today. While Pakistani flags were hoisted in Kupwara district, ISIS flags were allegedly sighted in Srinagar by Hurriyat supporters.
Supporters of Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq allegedly waved ISIS flags in Srinagar’s Jama Masjid. This is the first time that ISIS flags have been waved by the separatists particularly supporters of Hurriyat. Earlier Pakistani and LeT flags have been found in valley but authorities for the first time found that supporters of Hurriyat leaders were waving anti-national flags.
Supporters of Hurriyat leader Shabir Shah are reported to have waved Pakistani flags in Kupwara while they were demanding the return of mortal remains of Afzal Guru. Earlier on May 9, the supporters of Shah had waved Pakistani flags, and dared the government to take action against them. Three Pakistani flags were displayed at the Anantnag rally of Shah.
