After Samba, 5 more districts in Jammu to complete 100% first dose vaccination in 18 above age group

Days after Samba district in Jammu division completed first dose vaccination in all above 18 years of age, five more districts in Jammu division are set to achieve the milestone.

As per the data available , districts – Jammu, Doda, Ramban, Poonch and Reasi districts in Jammu division are set to reach the milestone within a few days.

The districts have given the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination to 91 percent, 88 percent, 93 percent, 99 percent and 89 percent of the people respectively.

Data reveals that of 1,160,387 persons above 18 in Jammu district, 1052,687 (91 percent) have received the first dose and 525,309 (45 percent) have received the second dose of vaccination.

In Doda of 310,913 persons above 18 years of age, 272,640 (88 percent) and 88,873 (29 percent) have first and second dose respectively.

In Ramban, of 215,180 persons above 18 years of age, 200,330 (93 percent) and 83,155 (39 percent) have received first and second dose respectively.

In Poonch, of 361,653 persons above 18 years of age, 357,101 (99 percent) and 100,887 (28 percent) have received first and second dose respectively.

In Reasi, of 238,657 persons above 18 years of age, 212,888 persons (89 percent) and 75,885 (32 percent) have received the first and second dose respectively.

In aggregate, 81 percent people above 18 have received the first dose and 34 percent have received the second dose in J&K respectively
