Earlier, Akthar had expressed his sadness at the news of Salman Khan being sentenced to five years in prison in the blackbucks poaching case.

“Really sad to see my friend Salman Khan sentenced to five years, but the law must take its course and we got to respect the decision of honourable court of India,” he had tweeted. “But I still think the punishment is too harsh, but my heart goes to his family and fans. I am sure he will be out soon.”

Another former Pakistan star Shahid Afridi has tweeted more blatantly about Kashmir a few days ago after security forces in Kashmir killed 13 terrorists, and said “innocents” were being shot down in Kashmir.
