After Tricolor doormats, Amazon faces trouble again for selling distorted Indian Map
In a controversy that had infuriated senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, the e-commerce giant Amazon took down few products from its inventory which hurt the nationalist sentiment of Indians. It was observed that products such as doormat and shoes with Indian Tricolour design on it was being sold on the e-commerce platform.
But, controversy has again gripped Amazon as it has been seen that maps of Indian territory are up for sale that has few parts of the state J&K missing from it. The vinyl stickers seem to be inappropriate as the few parts of the state J&K are not visible. Leaders across the political spectrum have condemned it and called for appropriate action in this matter.
