It seems that Airtel is in no mood to settle down and since the introduction of Reliance Jio in the Indian telecommunication industry, it has been introducing new plans in order to hold onto its dominance in the industry.
With the launch of Airtel Rs. 219 prepaid plan, the telco is now looking to offer 3G/4G data to its subscribers at more affordable prices and take of Jio’s Rs. 149 and Rs. 198, which are also two of the most availed prepaid plans in India with a validity of 28 days.
With the Airtel Rs. 219 prepaid plan, users will get 1.4GB of 3G/4G daily data coupled with unlimited calling and 100 SMS a day. While the validity of this prepaid plan is 28 days, it looks quite similar to the Rs. 199 recharge plan offered by Airtel, as it also offers the same amount of daily data and voice calling benefits.
That being said, under the new plan, Airtel is also offering its subscribers unlimited Hello Tunes.
