Bharti Airtel has been trying really hard to compete with Reliance Jio’s pricing for its prepaid mobile recharge plans and what’s making it even harder for Bharti Airtel is the fact that Reliance Jio tends to offer additional cellular data to its subscribers every now and then. Rather than offering additional data to its subscribers, Airtel has now revised one of its most popular prepaid recharge plan to offer more daily data.

Airtel’s Rs. 199 prepaid recharge plan has been revised to offer 1.5GB of daily 4G data instead of Rs. 1.4GB which translate to 2.8GB of additional 4G data for the entire month as the Airtel Rs. 199 prepaid recharge plan comes with 28 days of validity. On the other hand, the prepaid mobile recharge plan also comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period.

That said, the Airtel Rs. 199 prepaid recharge plan takes on Reliance Jio’s Rs. 198 prepaid plan which comes with 2GB of daily 4G data, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period which is of 28 days. Additionally, there is also a complimentary subscription of the whole Jio suite of apps which includes JioMovies, JioTV and more.

Meanwhile, Airtel has recently brought back the Rs. 100 and Rs. 500 prepaid talk time recharge packs which were discontinued last year which come with Rs. 81.75 and Rs. 420.73 worth of talk time, respectively, along with 28 days of validity.
