We know that Alia Bhatt is shooting for her next film, Raazi in Kashmir. The first schedule kick started last month in Mumbai followed by the second schedule in Patiala. This is the third schedule in what is called the ‘Heaven On Earth’ and going by the pictures that Alia has been posting on her Instagram account, she seems to be having one helluva time there. So what happened suddenly that Alia was taken to a hospital? Before you all freak out, let us tell you that there was not any casualty and Alia is not hospitalised. She was taken to a hospital in Pahalgham as she had to shoot a sequence there for the film.
Alia’s mother Soni Razdan is also a part of the star cast, and they both shot for an intense scene at Pahalgam’s Government Civil Hospital yesterday. And their presence caused quite a fan frenzy as a source reveals to Mumbai Mirror, “Over 300 local fans of Alia Bhatt had gathered to watch the actress shoot a lengthy sequence for her upcoming film, Raazi. Soni Razdan, who had accompanied her daughter, plays her mother in the film too. Both were without makeup and dressed in cotton salwar-kurtas. The filming started around 2pm and ended by 5:30pm. The unit will head back to Mumbai on Wednesday. Measures were taken to ensure that patients were not troubled with a doctor on call outside the set. Cops from the Jammu and Kashmir police and jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were also deployed to boost security and ensure that no outsider ventured in. Permissions were in order and shooting was smooth.”
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Meghna Gulzar, Raazi also stars Vicky Kausal as the male lead. The movie is based on the book titled Sehmat and is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Alia plays a Kashmiri girl, who is married to an army officer, a role which is being played Vicky.
