Srinagar, July 21 : In an attempt to resolve the Kashmir unrest, an All Party meeting is scheduled in valley today.
The meeting is expected to be attended by most of the political faces of the state with only one compelling agenda — restoration of peace in the Valley.

The National Conference however, decided to boycott the meeting, stating that until a credible, effective and humane leadership is re-established in the State, an All Party Meeting is meaningless. In the meanwhile J&K National Conference submitted a detailed Memorandum to the Hon’ble Governor wherein steps to ease the tension were mentioned.
