Kathua Sex Racket
Kathua, November 03: The Kathua police today busted an alleged sex racket detaining over ten people from a hotel on Jammu – Pathankot National Highway.
The raiding police party had received a tip-off about promiscuous activities at hotel Rattan Palace at Hatli Morh.
Police sources have said that the racket had been running for a long time and after a considerable number of complaints lodged by locals as well as unknown callers, a raid was conducted by a police Party led by SHO Women Cell, Kathua, Sanjeevani Jyoti.
According to media reports, SHO Sanjeevani Jyoti has said that complaints about a sex racket being run in this hotel have been received on numerous occasions by the police. She further added that three girls and seven boys were detained in the raid.
The SHO said, “Investigation is going on and the hotel owner is also being questioned on his role in the sex-racket.”
Meanwhile, sources said that the police has also detained the manager and one receptionist of the hotel.
