Amarnath devotee’s life saved by doctors
Continuing to provide unsurpassed healthcare services to Amarnath yatris, a team of doctors under the supervision of Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) posted at Baltal Base camp Hospital, Sonamarg have saved the life of a 43 year old devotee hailing from Agra received at Baltal Base Camp who showed symptoms of hyperglycemia and severe breathlessness.
A team of doctors headed by Dr Nasir Shamas managed the patient instantly and was diagnosed as a case of Heart Attack where an urgent thrombolysis was performed immediately and referred to SKIMS at 2am for further evaluation where the patient is doing well.
The team of health personals who were a part of this procedure including Dr. Rajinder Sharma, Dr Bilal Ahmed, Dr Tufail Ahmed, Dr Nazir Khan, Dr Shoaib Khan and paramedical staff.
Earlier, the team has already saved a life of 45 year old yatri at base camp hospital, baltal on July 2 who presented with symptoms of PSVT.
