Amarnath Yatra resumes; fresh batch of 4633 pilgrims leave from Jammu

A fresh batch of 4633 pilgrims today left for the holy Amarnath cave shrine from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp as the yatra resumed after two days. The yatra from Jammu had remained suspended for two consecutive days in view of closed national highway due to heavy rains which had triggered landslides in the region.
Following the improvement in weather conditions the yatra resumed from both Baltal and Chandanwari routes today. The number if yatris who visited the holy cave have crossed the 1.65 lakh mark today. As per reports 18,35- yatris paid obeisance at the holy cave on the 12th day of the Yatra and till date 1,67,451 yatris had darshan at the holy cave.
