Another Kashmir girl makes her state proud; This time in Tollywood

Aqsa Bhatt, born to Maharaj Krishen Bhatt and Jeetha Bhatt, is a model who made her acting debut with Malayalam film Life of Josutty, spoke about her Tamil debut, ‘Oru Melliya Kodu’. Aqsa Bhatt became familiar to Malayalees through the popular video about tourism in Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. The video won her great appreciation and achievements as well. Aqsa is making her Mollywood debut through a great upcoming flick. She has already done films in Kollywood and one in Kannada. In fact she made her acting debut in a Kannada film called ‘Male Baruva Munna’ which released last year.
According to a report from a national daily, the actress has revealed that her character in the film has negative shades to it. The film is a suspense thriller and she plays a teenager in the film. What is special about the film is that every character in the film, including her own, has both positive and gray shades. This further adds mystery to the film.
Aqsa, who is currently shooting for a yet another untitled Malayalam flick, said that director AMR Ramesh did not audition her for the role. Instead he saw a few of her clippings and decided to cast her. The film was actually shot in both Kannada and Tamil simultaneously. The Kannada version, ‘Game’, has already released.
