Doda::Government Primary School Lower Chapra Panchayt Dhara B Zone Gundna was found closed on monday and also today as reported by local residents and students.
When students and locals of Lower Chapra village today morning reached the said school, they found it closed and all the teachers were found absent from duties. Locals informed the President of DRYWA Doda Sh Farid Ahmed Naik about the said matter. NGO president along with his collegues visited the school and found it closed without any notice.
Inhabitants of the locality said that it is not known wether Wednesday is declared as holiday in Gundna zone by the concerned authorities. Last week also one school was found closed on Wednesday and today another school has been found closed. They alleged that ZEO Gundna has never paid visit to the schools falling in the zone and has given a free hand to the teachers who are in turn playing with the career of the poor children
District Rural Youth Welfare Association ( DRYWA ) president Farid Ahmed Naik interacted with media persons and said, “CEO Doda is not concerned about the educational system of remote schools of Doda. When ever approached by locals, CEO was never found in his office.” NGO president also questioned education minister jammu and kashmir about the cause of CEO’s negligent attitudes towards the schools.
When contacted Chief Education Officer Doda ensured strict action against the erring teachers .
