Srinagar, 27 June: Right wing BJP Lawmakers led by Ravinder Raina resorted to anti-Pakistan sloganeering while members of its ally, PDP, remained silent in their seats.
As soon as the business resumed, BJP members remained standing at their respective seats as sought investigation in to the killing of eight CRPF men in Pampore.
In a major attack on last Saturday evening, eight CRPF men were killed while two militants too died.
“Given the rise in the militant attacks which are done at the behest of Pakistan, we demand a thorough investigation in to the killing of CRPF men,” BJP’s J&K head, Sat Paul Sharma asked Speaker, Kavinder Gupta.
However, on this point, Langate Lawmaker mocked BJP saying, “what are you demanding? It is you own government, investigate yourself, why are you saying it here.”
In his fierce reaction, Rasheed told the BJP members, “the rise in militancy is because of RSS government.”
BJP’s Ravinder Raina asked government to attack “pickets of Pakistan army on border”. “It is continuing that first our police men were killed and not CRPF was targeted.”
While he led anti-Pakistan slogans, Raina was seen, pushing hands of his party colleagues upwards.
Amid anti- Pakistan slogans, Opposition members from National Conference stood and mocked at PDP, “Support your alliance partners.”
They reminded government of Handwara killings and the report which is yet to be tabled in the house.
Rasheed asked BJP as “why they don’t condemn those forces personnel who killed civilians of Handwara”.
