Several political parties and organisations Wednesday staged anti-Pakistan protests in different parts of Jammu city after four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were killed and three injured in ‘unprovoked’ overnight firing from across the border.
Led by their chairperson Harsh Dev Singh, workers of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) demonstrated at the Exhibition Ground here.
Singh stressed that Pakistan needs to be isolated at the international level to ensure that it stops its “nefarious” activities.
He also attacked the BJP-led NDA government, alleging that the Centre had failed to deal with Pakistan ‘effectively’.
”Pakistan has created terror along the border and the hinterland and the Centre is watching as a mute spectator with its focus only on winning the next year’s parliamentary elections,” the JKNPP chairperson said.
