Jammu: 19 September 2016, Army has been contributing towards improving the health care of the locals of Poonch district, by conducting regular medical camps under the Sadhbhavana initiative. Further strengthening its resolve to do so, the Army organised a Medical and Dental camp for the villagers of Surankote Tehsil today. A team of 10 doctors including a dental doctor and 02 Nursing Assistants from Army provided treatment and medicines. The camp reached out to the people of villages of Chhatral, Salwah, Banola, Chapartala, Nadot and Chhunga. Emergency services were made available during the camp and a special screening for cataract was also organised. People from adjoining areas also turned up in large numbers for medical treatment.
