The Iftar began with the traditional breaking of fast and offering of Maghrib Namaz (Dusk Prayers). This was followed by dinner in which customary Wazwan was served. Speaking on the occasion, Major General Asit Mistry, General Officer Commanding, ‘Kilo’ Force highlighted that the spirit behind organizing the event, was to celebrate the core values of our Nation, epitomized by unity in diversity, universal brotherhood and secularism. He thanked all the guests for their presence during this pious event and wished for peace and harmony to prevail in Kashmir.
