ARMY ORGANISE ZORAWAR TREKKING EXPEDITION FOR YOUTH OF KISHTWAR DISTRICT

Jammu:  16 September 2016, The   Trekking Expedition for the youth of Kishtwar District was Flagged off by Commander of Kishtwar Rashtriya Rifles, with an aim of encouraging them to undertake adventure activities and promote the spirit of adventure amongst the Youth of the region Commander of Kishtwar Rashtriya Rifles Sector flagged off the Zorawar Trekking Expedition from Gulabgarh, Paddar.  Ten youth of the region will trek for a distance of 96 KM over a period of 10 days starting from Gulabgarh to Bhujwas and back.

Shri. Sachin Sharma, a student from Kishtwar who is also part of the trek said that he was really excited about the trekking expedition & appreciated the Army for providing the trekkers a platform and trekking equipment along with training to participate in the expedition.  While speaking on the Flagging Off ceremony, Commander of kishtwar Rashtriya Rifles Sector said that “Adventure activities of such nature will go a long way in promoting adventure sports in the region.
