Army organises motor cycle expedition

Jammu, Aug 03 :  As part of Sadbhavna initiative to promote and foster the spirit of peace & unity between the youth of far flung areas of Poonch region and North Kashmir valley, Indian Army organised a Motorcycle Expedition ‘Sair-E-Milaap’. The members of the Expedition interacted with the Chinar Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Subrata Saha in a simple ceremony held at Badami Bag Contentment, today. This Expedition, which has a combined twelve member team of Army person and young college students of the Poonch region, truly embodies the spirit of brotherhood & oneness and carries the message of peace, harmony, unity and patriotism.Lt Gen Subrata Saha General Officer Commanding 15 Corps intracted with Motorcycle Expedition Team

Having been flagged off from Jhullas, Poonch on 29 July 2015, the team has traversed over the Mughal Road to reach Srinagar on 01 August 2015 and covered Sonmarg & Zozilla on 02 August 2015. The mission which is also symbolic of adventure, courage and fortitude of the youth of Jammu & Kashmir, will return to Rajauri via Udhampur and Jammu.
