The camp drew an overwhelming response from the locals and Gujjar and Bakkarwals who turned out in large numbers alongwith their livestock to get the treatment for their cattle which required immediate medical attention after sudden floods and mudslides in the area. The people were also given lecture on the health related aspects for cattles in view of the forthcoming seasonal changes. The veterinary camp turned out to be a huge success, looking at the number of locals from Ghora Gali, Dachhan, Gool, Lancha, Budhan and adjoining villages who came to get veterinary treatment for their cattle.
A total number of 161 buffaloes, 43 ponies, 1134 cattle including sheeps and goats were treated by veterinary doctor from the Army and civil department.
