Army organizes medical camp at Hanga Nari village in Bhaderwah

A Rashtriya Rifles battalion located in Bhadarwah organised a Medical Camp at Hanga Nari village, Bhaderwah tehsil, today. The camp was organised to provide medical assistance to include free medicines to the needy locals staying in remote areas.

A medical team consisting of one Medical Officer from Army and Dr Sandeep, from PHC, Chinta provided the much needed medical cover to the ladies, children and elderly people during the camp. A large number of patients turned up for the free medical check-up. During the camp a total of 274 patients were treated which included 122 ladies, 86 gents and 66 children.

Along with the free treatment of patients, distribution of medicines the medical camp also assisted people affected due to recent floods by given ration packets, necessary medicines and blankets to the needy. A total of 10 persons were provided assistance in rebuilding their houses with the use of sandbags.
