Jammu, Oct 28:

 

  1. An Army Recruitment Rally will be held at Zorawar Stadium, Sunjuwan (Jammu) from 30 October 2015 to 10 November 2015. Recruitment WILl be based on Online Application System which is a change from the erstwhile Open Rally System. Recruitment Rally will be held for candidates of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Reasi Districts. Common entrance Exam (CEE) for candidates screened in the rallies will held at Zorawar Stadium, Sunjuwan (Jammu) on 29 November 2015. Negative marking system will be followed  in CEE (i.e %) negative mark for every wrong answers):-

  1.          All the candidates who have registered themselves and applied online, are required to report at the Rally site (Sunjuwan Cantonment) as per the dates for their respective Tehsils/Districts.  Admit card for the candidates have been issued from the Recruiting Directorate website to their registered email ids.  Candidates are required to report with the printed admit card (minimum 600 DPI print to facilitate reading by barcode reader) and the self declaration affidavit.  Format of the affidavit is given in the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Additional details pertaining to Police Stn, Post Office and PIN Code are to be included in the affidavit.

 

  1. Eligibility Criteria.    The eligibility criteria will be as under:-

 

(a)        Soldier (General Duty)

 

(i)              Age   17 years and months to 21 years i.e. 30 October 1994. To 30 April 1998.

(ii)             Height  166 Cms.

(iii)           Education Qualification.

(aa)    Minimum 10th class passed with 45% marks aggregate and minimum 33% in each subject for candidates hailing from jammu, Kathua and Samba district (Vocational streams not acceptable).

 

(ab)      Minimum 10th  class passed with 33% in each subject for candidates hailing from Udhampur,             Reasi, Doda, Rajouri, Ramban, Kistwar and Poonch  district (Vocational streams not acceptable).           For ST candidates : 8th Pass.

(b)        For Soldier (Technical)except Soldier Technical NA/VET

 

(i)            Age :  17 years and 06 months to  23 years i.e 30 October 1992 to 30 April 1998.

(ii)           Height 163 Cms.

(iii)          Education Qualification.

 

(aa)        10+2  class simple pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum       45% aggregate.

OR

(ab)      10th class pass with min 50% marks in aggregate if 3 years Diploma in Engineering                       from AICTE recognized institute.

 

(c)        Soldier (Clerk/Store Keeper).

 

(i)            Age.  17 years and 06 months to  23 years i.e 30 October 1992 to 30 April 1998.

(ii)           Height. 162 Cms.

(iii)          Education Qualification.  

 

(aa)      10+2 in any stream Arts/Science/Commerce with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.  If the candidate has English but no Maths/Accts/Booking as subject in 12th, he should have passed 10th with min 40% marks in Maths/Accts/Book Keeping.  If candidate has Maths/Accts/Booking Keeping Subject in 12th but not English, he should have passed 10th with min 40% as in English.  If a candidate is graduate (any field) with Maths/Accts/Booking Keeping   and English (even elective) as one of the subjects, the stipulation of scoring 40% marks in Maths/English in Class 12th  or Class 10th  and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in Class 12th or class 10th  and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th is waived off. If a candidate is graduate but not having English and Maths/Accts/Book keeping at graduate level, he should  have scored minimum 40% marks in English and Maths/Accts/Book keeping at lest once in class 12th and class 10th .

 

(d)        Soldier Tradesman. (8th and 10th Pass)

 

(i)            Age.  17 years and 06 months to  23 years i.e 30 October 1992 to 30 April 1998.

(ii)           Height. 166 Cms.

(iii)          Education Qualification.    8th/ 10th (Matric) simple pass.

 

  1. Documents Required.          The candidates are required to bring the following certificates in original alongwith Photostat copy of each certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

 

(a)        School Leaving Certificate and Mark Sheet.

(b)        State Subject Certificate (Permanent Residents Certificate).

(c)        Character Certificate (Issued within last six months) duly signed by sarpanch/SHO and    principal of school only.

(d)        Caste certificate duly signed by Tehsildar/SDM/DM. (DOGRA- All Hindus  of J&K).

(e)        Unmarried cert duly signed by village Sarpanch only.

(f)        NCC ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’. certificate and RD Parade certificate (if held), O+level computer      certificate from DOEACC.

(g)        Individual to bring their Aadhar card for rally, if held.

(h)        No claim certificate duly signed by self/father/mother. (candidate will be appearing in rally at        own will and risk and no claim for any injury or loss sustained during the rally will be entertained).

(i)         Self Affidavit :- A comprehensive format for self declaration affidavit has been declaration             affidavit has been formulated. A format of self Declaration Affidavit is att as per Appendix.

 

  1. Additional Documents Required for Sons of Ex Servicemen/Serving Soldiers.

 

Father’s Discharge Book in original/or Relationship certificate and one photocopy duly attested by a Gazetted office giving details on the Son duly authenticated by record Officer.

 

  1. Photographs Required.       24 copies of latest photographs  TAKEN IN LAST 01 MONTH ONLY. Computerised  or attested photographs will not be accepted.

 

7          Candidates who are not in possession of original documents and photographs will not be entertained for issue of tokens/ screening.

 

 

8          ALL CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO GET THEIR EARS CLEANED FROM ENT SPECIALIST BEFORE THE RECRUITMENT RALLY

 

  1. NO MOBILE PHONE WILL BE BROUGHT TO RALLY SITE.

 

NOTE:-

 

  1. RECRUITMENT INTO THE ARMY IS A FREE SERVICE. CANDIDATES ARE STRICTLY INSTRUCTED NOT TO PAY BRIBE TO ANYONE FOR RECRUITMENT AS IT IS BASED PURELY ON MERIT. THEREFORE BEWARE OF TOUTS AS THEY CANNOT HELP AT ANY STAGE.

2          NO OVERWRITING/TEMPERING ON CERTIFICATES ACCEPTABLE.

  1. PRODUCING FAKE DOCUMENTS AND GIVING FALSE INFORMATION WILL LIABLE YOU ARE PUNISHMENT AS PER LAW OF THE COUNTRY AND LEAD TO TERMINATING OR SERVICE INSPITE OF ANY NUMBER OF YEARS SERVICE ONE MAY RENDER AFTER SELECTION.
