Army rescues nine passengers


Jammu, May 12: Army today rescued nine passengers from Thanamandi road when an ill-fated Mahindra XYLO bearing registration number JK-12-4292 in which they were travelling fell in a gorge.

On getting the information, the troops of 38 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Romeo Force, rushed to the accident site and safely evacuated all the nine passengers. The passengers were lucky to have escaped the accident unharmed and were extremely thankful to the Indian Army for the timely rescue and assistance.
