Arrest instigators, bring normalcy in a week: Rajnath Singh
New Delhi, September 12: Home Minister Rajnath Singh has given clear instructions to the security forces to go after the people which have been instigating youth to indulge in violence in Kashmir. The Union Minister has also asked the security forces to try and bring normalcy to be restored within a week.
The directive came after the home Minister has an hour-long meeting with top security officials, including National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
Sources privy to the information from the meeting, said that the Home Minister has instructed to go after the instigators of the violence in the Kashmir valley and book them as they continue to disrupt normal life for 65 days.
Singh categorically mentioned that normalcy should be brought back within a week and school and other educational institutions should function as students are worst sufferers during the prolonged turmoil according to the sources.
Since the business community has taken a severe hit too, Singh also suggested that attempts should also be made to reopen shops and other commercial establishments which were shut completely.
