Artillery shells land in Gurez as LoC heats up


Artillery shells fired from across the border landed in Gurez sector of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.

An official said that Pakistani troops fired shells at six locations today morning.

Reports said that some shells fell near a stone crusher owned by NHPC near Kanzalwan area.

However, no immediate reports of loss of life or property were received.

India and Pakistan have exchanged massive fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir and several areas in Rajouri and Poonch districts since yesterday.
