SRINAGAR, AUGUST 24: Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Asiea Naqash today visited Hazratbal constituency and inspected several educational institutions including Government Girls High school and Boys High School Habak and took stock of the facilities being provided to the students.
The Minister interacted with the students and enquired about the facilities and mid-day meals being providing to them. While talking to the teaching staff of the school, she impressed upon the school authorities to ensure better education to the students enrolled there.
Describing students as future of the nation, the Minister said that it is our responsibility to put them on right path of career. She also asked the teaching staff as well other staff to maintain good relations with the students and their parents.
Enroute several deputations met the Minister and apprised about various problems being faced by the people. The Minister assured that all their genuine demands would be met in a phased manner.
The Minister said that the coalition government is striving for improving the enrolment and imparting quality education in the Government schools and various reformative steps have been taken in this regard. She called upon the teaching staff to put in their best efforts to improve the results and make the Government schools competitive with private schools.
