B-town mourns legendary Omar Sharif’s demise

 

Mumbai: Celebrities like Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar and Randeep Hooda took to Twitter to mourn the death of Egyptian-born actor Omar Sharif. While some remembered him as a “true gentleman”, there are others who called him the “towering personality.”

Sharif , who came into the limelight with his role in David Lean’s “Lawrence of Arabia” and the lead role in “Doctor Zhivago”, died of a cardiac arrest on Friday, aged 83.

Remembering his unmatched journey in the entertainment industry, many Bollywood celebrities took to micro-blogging site Twitter to offer condolence on his death. Here’s what they tweeted:
