Cabinet reshuffle effect: Imran Ansari and Basharat Bukhari resigns from cabinet
Srinagar: The senior PDP leader, Syed Basharat Bukhari Friday submitted his resignation from the cabinet. He was earlier assigned the portfolio of Horticulture.
Bukhari confirmed his resignation to KNS and said, “I have given all the reasons for tendering my resignation to the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and she is the best to explain those reasons.”
Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports Molvi Imran Raza Ansari has resigned from the Mehbooba Mufti led cabinet Friday late afternoon.
Sources close to Ansari confirmed to Kashmir Life about the development and said that “he submitted his resignation at around 4:30.”
The sources did not divulge details saying the reasons are “personal”
Pertinently the senior leader Syed Basharat Bukhari also resigned after the departments under him were shifted and he was given Horticulture portfolio.
Both Bukhari and Ansari were the cabinet ministers right from the day PDP-BJP led coalition came into existence in March 2015
