Jammu ans kashmir traffic police has taken a stringent stance to deal with the rule-breakers this festive season. With Karvachauth just around the corner, the streets and markets are bustling with crowd. The streets are crowded with lady-shoppers, the roads are jampacked, with cars honking sounds irking the pedestrians.
The main reason for crowded roads being wrongly-parked cars. People in a hurry park roads at no-parking zones which creates unnecessary nuisance for one and all.
With the karvachauth fest, the mehndi artits, bangle-sellers etc have spread across the length and breadth of the city, making the roads conjusted and traffic movement inconvinient. To avoid such a scenario, the traffic police has decided to go tough on traffic rules this festive season. Henceforth, main market areas such as Link road, Parade, Purani Mandi, Kachchi Chawni, Rehari colony, Janipur, Apsara road, Gandhi Nagar areas have been identified as the most crowded areas.
