Bhalla greets people on Eid-ul-Azha’
Calls to help Govt in restoring flood damages’
JAMMU: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports Raman Bhalla today visited various Eidgahs including Malik Market in Narwal, Karayani Talab, Macca Masjid in Bathindi and Digiana and exchanged Eid-ul Azha greetings with the people.
Interacting with the people Mr. Bhalla said that this joyous occasion would be a harbinger of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmark of the State’s glorious pluralistic behaviour. He appealed the people to help the Government in restoring damages caused due to flash floods across the State. The Mr. Bhalla said that the day symbolises love, compassion and kindness. He asserted that Eid-ul-Azha reminds us of our responsibility towards poor and needy and inculcates the spirit of sharing happiness and joy with everyone. He maintained that Islam teaches peace, brotherhood, amity and love besides tolerance and patience.Bhalla stated that Eid is an occasion to dedicate ourselves to the teachings of Islam and preaching’s of Prophet Muhammad .“Let us all pledge today to work unitedly for the peace, prosperity and well being of the State and its people”, said Bhalla.
