Jammu: With an aim to further evolve the Industrial sector of Jammu and Kashmir, State Industrial Development Cooperation (SIDCO) has decided to hire 10,000 new employees.
“We have bought 300 kanal of land near Kathua, 27 kanal near Sambha, 73 kanal near Batali, 12 kanal near Dhiyani and 1,000 kanal near Lassipora (Kashmir). Companies like ITC, Patanjali and Chenab Textiles are ready to set up their industrial units on these lands. In addition, 64 kanal land will be bought separately for Solid Waste Management Plant,” Amit Sharma Managing Director of J&K SIDO told a leading daily.
Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a higher rate of unemployment than any other state. In such circumstances these jobs will be a ray of hope for the youth of the state.
