Bishnah MLA Ashwani Sharma join BJP
Recognizing the broad based acceptance of BJP’s rising popularity among the masses of the country, cutting across religious, caste and regional considerations, the lone two time MLA from Bishnah constituency of Jammu State Morcha (JSM) Ashwani Sharma, today joined BJP at an impressive public gathering at Bishnah. Amongst others he was welcomed into the party-fold by BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP & J&K State Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, Leader of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria and other senior leaders.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while welcoming Ashwani Sharma into party fold, stated that with his joining BJP, a strong and a clear message will go to all the patriotic segments of the state reaffirming BJP’s commitment to justice to all and discrimination to none. The political path chosen by Ashwani Sharma by being in JSM was on account of his desire to see that discrimination with Jammu is brought to an end. However, he is now convinced that BJP is a better and more effective organization in bringing to an end discrimination not only with Jammu region but all other such discriminated regions of the state and has therefore decided to be part of the BJP.
Avinash Rai Khanna while speaking on the occasion, said that time has come for the rank and file of the State BJP to envision the BJP’s future role in the state being destined to be in the governing role. The party’s vision document of Mission 44+ inspired by the Modi wave is an achievable goal. Demolishing the castles built in air by Congress and its coalition partners for having another go at the governance of the country, the Modi wave has ushered in a period of stability, prudent governance and governance with integrity. Modi’s vision has inspired and galvanized the entire country and the party workers must not bring laxity in their political work and should convince the masses to vote for BJP in the forthcoming assembly elections and make “Mission 44+” a reality.
Ashok Khajuria said that the forthcoming assembly elections are going to be epochal for the political future of the state and rank and file of the party have a crucial role to play at this juncture and must take full advantage of Modi’s wave.
Ashwani Sharma said that the development plank initiated by Narendra Modi has received overwhelming response from the masses and the people in Jammu and Kashmir too want this development to be on top agenda. He said that the BJP stands for good governance, eradication of poverty and corruption and development. It is the main reason which has inspired me to be part of this party and the people of my constituency also wanted the same. He assured to work whole heartedly to further strengthen BJP in Bishnah constituency.
