Srinagar, May 18: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today asked the Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani to apologise for indulging in anti-India activities if he wanted a passport. This statement was issued by the BJP after two days after Geelani asked the regional passport office to issue travel document to him for visiting Saudi Arabia.
BJP spokesman Khalid Jahangir in a statement issued today said that the passport will be issued to Indian citizens and not to those who do not believe in Indian democracy. He said that passport will not be given to Geelani till he apologise for his mistakes during 25 years.
